Charity Single Recorded For Missing Film Critic

Local musician DJ Gash has recorded a single to raise money to look for missing film critic David Murray, who was reported missing on Thursday.

The single, 'Have You Seen Me?', is available to download from iTunes and Amazon for £0.79, and from DJ Gash's own website (www.djgash.com) for £0.78. Proceeds from sales, after costs (including producing a video and TV advertising), will go towards forming a search party or angry mob.

"We're looking for David Murray."

DJ Gash wrote the song with help from his friend and wingman Steve Biggs, who himself was reported missing late last year. With a banging 350bpm beat, synths and vocoders, it is sure to be a dancefloor hit.

A video has been shot for the song in Hanley, featuring shots of local homeless people and drunks looking forlorn.

"People going missing is a serious matter," said DJ Gash at the launch party on a yacht on Lake Burslem. "When me mate Steve went missing a few months ago I was dead worried but it turned out he'd just gone on a massive bender around Longton. Respec' is due."
